One of my favorite professors, an expert in Carmelite spirituality, reminded me that Wednesday was the feast day of St. Teresa of Avila. I pray her “bookmark” prayer most days. Here’s an excerpt.

Beautiful message, Therese. Thanks for sharing St. Teresa’s words and yours, too! “This too shall pass” is one of my favorite slogans. That and a few deep breaths can really help create a shift in moments when the mind wants to go down the rabbit hole. Thanks for all your great posts and inspiration! Many blessings, Beth.
