Live the Questions Now

6a011571ff676d970b0147e1da02b5970b-200piI thought I’d share this favorite quote of mine with you. I read it every day to remind myself not to panic when I get confused.

Have patience with everything unresolved in your heart and try to love the questions themselves. Don’t search for the answers, which could not be given to you now, because you would not be able to live them. And the point is to live everything. Live the questions now. Perhaps then, someday far in the future, you will gradually, without even noticing it, live your way into the answer. –Rainer Maria Rilke

Hi! And thanks for the reply, I really appreciate that you took the time to read and respond to my email. And yes the sentiment/thought does help, it is calming. I guess the ‘answer’, the ‘how to fix this’ lies in the thinking about the issue and discussing it, not in getting freaked out about it. Especially since I, alone, cannot fix it. Thx and here’s to a thoughtful day 🙂 jane
