Video: The Highly Sensitive Person

0

If you have ever wondered why you don’t fare well in noisy places, why it takes you so much longer to adjust to change, or why your feelings are so much more intense than your friends, you will appreciate this video. I explain what it means to be a highly sensitive person, as defined by Elaine Aron in her bestselling “The Highly Sensitive Person.”

I don’t want to spoil the surprise, so I won’t say anything more before you watch the video.

  1. I have a hard time relating to other women, moms, who take all our big box stores, iphone technologies and extreme busyness of parenting in stride. It’s hard to not keep up mentally with what seems normal today. When I was growing up, this volume of doing and sorting of information wasn’t going on. I keep yearning for more simpler times as a mom, but the mainstream of life has us in it’s current. I still have a flip phone though. Thank you for looking at this angle of being highly sensitive. For sure it validates why I can’t go into WalMart.
